Spagetti Bolognese

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. italian sausage
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 28 oz can crushed san marzano tomatoes
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 2 T. Italian seasoning
  • 1 T. Herbs de provence
  • 1 t. fennel seeds
  • 1 t. red pepper flakes
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1 t. pepper

Instructions

  1. Saute beef and sausage in a large dutch oven until browned. Add remaining ingredients and simmer on low for several hours. Serve over hot spagetti and top with shaved parmesan.
