- 1 lb. italian sausage
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 28 oz can crushed san marzano tomatoes
- 2 T. sugar
- 2 T. Italian seasoning
- 1 T. Herbs de provence
- 1 t. fennel seeds
- 1 t. red pepper flakes
- 1 t. salt
- 1 t. pepper
- Saute beef and sausage in a large dutch oven until browned. Add remaining ingredients and simmer on low for several hours. Serve over hot spagetti and top with shaved parmesan.
