Step 2: Lightly grease the casserole dish with cooking oil. I recommend a 9*13 size casserole dish. if you are using a skillet, use a 10-inch cast iron skillet.
Step 3: Keep it uncovered and bake at 350F for 45-50 minutes.
Step 4: Now add cheese on top to it and bake it for another 10-15 minutes, let me cheese turn golden

If you’d like, you can also add the cheese right away and bake the casserole for 55 minutes straight. It won’t change the taste and will be as delicious as by another method.

Make it 2 Days Before Party

When you know that you are going to host a big party and your menu is versatile, you’ll have to prepare in advance. You can also prepare a corn casserole recipe Paula deen 2 days before you serve it.

Method 1: Prepare and Refrigerate

Like the crockpot method, here mix all the ingredients in the casserole tray and cover it with a saran wrap. Keep this mix in the fridge until the day arrives. Before baking, let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Then bake as we have discussed above and enjoy.

You can make it sweeter by adding granulated sugar to the ingredients mix.

If you want to store it, use an airtight container. This stored corn casserole will be good for 3-4 days.
Though you can freeze it, the taste won’t be as good as fresh.
