Wine Dinner Circa 1918
so this is me…on my way to a wine dinner…
Circa 1918 is a restaurant down the street and they have the most amazing food.
and the most amazing bartender Kip Mullin
and the most amazing chefs Chad Martin and Aengus Brian Channon
the menu…
I made fast friends with the sommelier Jean Francois Deschamps at our last wine dinner at Fin and he got us in last minute, as it was totally booked
Did I mention that he is absolutely fabulous???
Well he is…
He has the best stories and he tells them with a thick french accent
Anyway…I think he’s super cool…
and I learn so much about wine from him. which is a miracle, because that stuff usually bores me to death.
our first course…
which was my favorite.
